Infrassure is a successful insurance and reinsurance company based in Zurich, Switzerland, specialized in insuring the construction and operation of major, international infrastructure projects and facilities, such as power plants, telecom networks, semi-conductor plants, oil and gas production / refining facilities, petrochemical and other process industries (cement, pulp and paper, chemicals etc.), mining and metal production facilities and civil construction works.
To further strengthen our highly motivated and qualified team we are looking for:
Engineering / Industrial Property Underwriting Auditors (w/m)
Your role
You will be part of a team auditing facultative risks underwritten in Infrassure’s areas of specialization namely engineering and industrial property programmes. The auditor’s role encompasses: analysis and evaluation of technical risks, assessing terms and conditions, applying judgment on the assessment of exposures and MPLs and finally verifying adherence to compliance guidelines. The auditor will help provide management with expert reviews and reports on the business underwritten. This is a full-time position although part-time or a consultancy role will be considered (minimum 40%).
Your profile
You have a technical background (ideally in one of the following fields; civil, metallurgical, chemical, process, power, petrochemical engineering) with over 10 years experience in engineering and property underwriting. Strong interpersonal skills together with a high standard of written and oral communication, are necessary strengths. As the company has over 30 nationalities our business language is English; the ability to speak other languages however, is an asset.
