Underwriting & Claims Manager – Process, Electronics and Telecommunications
Your Role
You will be the single point of contact, with responsibility for your own clients. You will cover a variety of challenging activities, such as analyzing and evaluating insurance risks, negotiating with clients, tailoring insurance solutions to client needs and implementing the solutions with co-insurers and reinsurers as participants. You will be responsible for providing quality insurance services during different phases: construction and operation; contract negotiations; preparation; negotiation and settlement of claims. This position offers exposure to global insurance and reinsurance projects and requires a certain amount of international travel.
Your profile
You have a technical background (mechanical engineering degree) with 5-7 years experience in a process or manufacturing industry either as an operation or maintenance engineer, or loss adjusting and risk inspections of such facilities. Combined with a strong interest in commercial and financial matters, this makes you an excellent candidate for this multi-faceted role. Our business language is English and the ability to speak other languages is an asset. Team spirit, analytical skills and excellent negotiating and communicating skills are also necessary strengths.
